After I read this to the kids, Ben asked "so what's good about today?" So I told him again how thankful I am that we found out about his Daddy's heart and that he can have surgery to fix it, and I told him how glad I am that he did so well in math today. Beth said "what about me?" So I thought, and thought (not that she's bad, but I had to think of something for today), and then she said "I reminded you that I needed to use my eye drops!" So there you have it...good things about all the people in my household! But don't ask me to find good things about our pets....that's not going to happen!

Okay, here's one more quiz to take to see who would be a good match for you for President. I actually liked this one better than the one I did the other day. Both times though, my best match was Huckabee. I guess it's a good thing I like him! :o)

Speaking of Huckabee, I am very impressed with the way he handles criticism. It seems all of the candidates are into bashing another candidate, but that's not his way. He says the candidates should be telling what they can do for America. I agree! It gets very tiresome hearing all the candidate bashing!

My Family Life

I don't want my children to be spoiled so I make sure they...
Do chores ... even the stuff they don't wanna do, and we don't give them everything they want.

I may not be a perfect chef, but my kids love it when I cook....
just about anything! But they especially love anything Mexican I make.

I felt like Super Mom when I .....
gave birth to my children!

I realized I had turned into my mom when I heard myself say.....
"Your eyes are going to stick that way!"

They may not thank me now, but when they're older my children will thank me for....
