Sky Watch Friday

Welcome to my 4th Sky Watch Friday! I had to go in the archives for this one. I haven't had any good sky shots for a couple of weeks.

This picture was taken in February at Biltmore House in Asheville, North Carolina. I love the cloud coverage over the house. It was a cold day with a few flurries, but we had lots of fun with our friends touring this magnificent home!

To see other Sky Watch photos, or to join in the fun, go on over and visit Tom at Wiggers World. There are a lot of wonderful photographers that participate. I just do it for fun, but some of the other photos are really fantastic!

perfect catch for Sky Watch Friday! earth and sky, woods and fields, lakes and rivers, the mountain and the sea, are excellent schoolmasters, and teach some of us more than we can ever learn from books…. Mine’s up too hope you can drop by but if you already visited then thanks.

I have always wanted to go to the Biltmore House but have not made it there yet. My daughter and her husband went for their 1st wedding anniversary get away. She loved it. They got married December 10, 2005 so she went in December 2006 for the Christmas decorated event. She said it was beautiful.
Your sky watch picture is so nice.

That's a neat looking building! Hard to believe there were flurries that day (and hard to conceive with all the mosquitoes buzzing around my head right now!)

Hello Virginia! We lived there for over 30 years and retired last spring and moved by to our roots here in West Virginia.
The Biltmore is a wonderful place - those clouds are very pretty above it!
Happy Skywatch

Howdy Dew from Dew!!! I would love to visit the Biltmore. I was up in Asheville a couple of years ago to visit, but it was closed, and we ended up visiting the arboretum instead... darn. Great SWF shot!
