Sky Watch Friday -- Happy Birthday America!

I love Sky Watch Friday! It has really made my family more aware of the sky and clouds...the beautiful views that God made just for us humans to enjoy! This time, however, my sky pictures are views made by man. :o)

Tomorrow, we Americans celebrate our country's Independence Day! It's America's 232nd birthday!

So in honor of our birthday, I post these colorful, albeit somewhat blurry photos of one of our local 4th of July fireworks displays! Enjoy!

Tomorrow is the big blow up your money fireworks day. LOL. Your photos are brilliant. I can't seem to catch them right and I always miss lightening.

I think this is going to be the best Sky Watch Friday yet. The things I have seen are very encouraging and the photography is spot on.

I really admire your photography skills and your critical eye for composition, lighting and texture.

It is well known that we Portuguese once sailed the seven seas searching for new lands, wealth and adventures.
We were brave in those days and gave the world new worlds!

Luckily I don’t have to sail the big oceans on a small ship to sea the wonders of our world …
No Sir, I just need to check with Mr. Tom, the finest host there is, for a trip around the world with SKY WATCH TOURS and with a click here, a click there I am quickly in the USA, England, Brazil, Italy, China, Australia, Finland … well, everywhere.

And on each stop I come to see a little marvel of our world under a great sky!
Hope you can come and see my piece of the sky at lenses & visions

And , of course, HAPPY BIRTHDAY USA!

Thought I'd pop back to see if these fireworks display was still going on and if you had many callers. it is, and you did.

I was pleased with your comment that said all your family enjoyed it... that a very nice thing to hear and I thank you for that. I let Sky Watch bob along under its own steam and hope folks post stuff that is family friendly... I have only ever had to remove blogs that are just advertisements and such like, so that tells me that the 200+ that post and the many more that visit and comment each week are decent folks with good values. I'm pleased you join in each week now and I'll look out for your link again next week.
