Hello Operator?

As I mentioned before, I'm working a temporary, part-time job. I answer the phones, I enter data and print out reports, etc, etc.

But today I felt like saying "Do I look like a phone book?" Why would anyone call up an office to ask for the telephone number of a completely different workplace? Since I've been working there I've had this happen at least 5 times! Helloooo??? I don't know enough about the office I'm in, let alone the phone number of every other office in our town!

I had to laugh at this because when I was working I would get this quite a bit and other really strange questions. Will you please email me. My email address is on my blog, under my picture, I think. It sounds like we have a lot to talk about! :o) I've enjoyed looking around your blog and some of the links too and look forward to getting to know you better.

Funny! Brought back memories of my own working days. One office I was in, our phone number was one number off a local radio station's number. Whenever they had a contest, we'd get excited people calling and saying, "Did I win the tickets???" Fun memories :-)

I love your bread station. I made bread this morning--haven't bought bread since about July. So much better than store bought.

Also, your 2007 canning picture is georgeous! My canning is stuffed here and there in the basement.
