Home Again, Home Again

Jiggity Jig! :o)

They released Neal from the hospital around 12:30 or 1:00 today. Now we are home trying to adjust to to things here. I'm afraid Neal thinks I moved the bathroom while he was gone...much further away than it was before. It seems that way anyhow.

It's going to take some time, but he does seem to be improving all the time. He's glad to be away from hospital food. I baked him some tilapia tonight and made a fresh spinach salad. Tomorrow I'll probably start on some of my frozen meals, and then next week some friends from church will bring us some meals.

I'll write more tomorrow, but right now I want to go sit next to my husband on the couch!

Good Night!

Make him take it easy. I know you guys will take great care of him.

I'm glad you're home.

God has worked so many miracles around us, who can doubt that there is anyone other than our One True God?! So many years ago someone with open heart surgery was in the hospital for at least 2-3 weeks (or longer for complications) and did not get out of bed to even walk for at least that first week. It is so amazing that Neal is now home and your family is complete once again. You have been in our prayers since we first heard about Neal's surgery and are continuing through full recovery which will probably be at least 2 months. We look forward to seeing you all back at church again and in ABF. We certainly missed you Sunday! Our prayers are with you all in maintaining your strength and endurance through Neal's healing process (which, truthfully, encompasses the whole family).

Jeremiah 29:11

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."
